Effective Date: January 1, 2026
By accessing or using the website located at opelikainsulation.com, by requesting an estimate, or by entering into a service agreement with Opelika Insulation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our services.
Opelika Insulation reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Opelika Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related services. Services are provided in Opelika, Alabama and surrounding communities in east-central Alabama.
All services are subject to an on-site assessment and written agreement prior to work beginning. We reserve the right to decline a project if site conditions are unsafe, if the scope of work is outside our service offerings, or if we cannot reach a mutually agreeable written scope of work with the customer.
Estimates provided by Opelika Insulation are based on information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Estimates are not final contracts and are subject to change if site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the assessment, if the scope of work is modified at the customer's request, or if material and labor costs change significantly due to market conditions.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work after a contract is signed must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Verbal agreements to change the scope or price are not binding. The final invoice will reflect the written scope and any approved change orders.
Once a project date is scheduled and confirmed, we ask that customers provide at least 48 hours advance notice if they need to reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a rescheduling fee at our discretion. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes to your schedule.
Certain services - particularly spray foam insulation - require the customer and all household occupants, including pets, to vacate the premises during installation and for a period afterward. It is your responsibility to make appropriate arrangements for this period. Failure to vacate as agreed may require us to reschedule the job and may result in additional fees.
We reserve the right to reschedule due to severe weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as promptly as possible in such cases and will work with you to find the earliest available alternative date.
Payment terms will be specified in the written service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is due upon completion of the work. For larger projects, we may require a deposit before scheduling the job. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be stated in the written agreement.
Accepted payment methods will be specified at the time of the estimate. If a payment becomes overdue, we reserve the right to charge a late fee and to withhold warranty coverage until the balance is paid in full. Accounts that remain unpaid may be referred to a collections process, and the customer may be responsible for any associated costs.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property, including disclosing any known hazardous materials, pest infestations, or prior damage that may affect the work. Failure to disclose known conditions that affect the scope or safety of the work may void any warranty and may result in additional charges.
Customers must ensure clear access to work areas on the day of installation. This includes removing stored items, furniture, and obstructions as directed by our crew prior to the scheduled date. Additional time required to clear the work area may result in additional labor charges.
Opelika Insulation stands behind the quality of our workmanship. Any warranty terms applicable to a specific project will be stated in the written service agreement. Product warranties, where applicable, are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship guarantee.
Workmanship warranties do not cover damage resulting from: improper use or modifications made after project completion; pre-existing structural or moisture conditions that were not disclosed; pest damage; acts of nature; or failure to follow post-installation instructions provided by our crew.
The website at opelikainsulation.com is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information on the site for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Opelika Insulation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website, our services, or these terms - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to Opelika Insulation for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Opelika, AL, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
