Opelika Insulation was started in 2019 by insulation professionals who grew up in the Auburn-Opelika area and saw a real need for a contractor who would show up, do the work right, and be straight with homeowners about what their homes actually needed. The company has been based in Opelika ever since.
Opelika has a lot of older homes - many built between the 1950s and 1980s, before modern energy codes took effect. Those homes are some of the most common we work on, and we know their specific challenges: settled insulation, drafty crawl spaces, and attics that let Alabama heat push straight into the living space. We work on newer subdivisions on the south and east sides of town, too, where different issues come up.
